Nannie Doss is a country, rockabilly duo comprised of partners in crime Pamela Laizure and Corinne Caouette who love playing music together so much they started two bands together!
Pamela currently plays with Minneapolis up and coming all girl rock and roll band Black Widows, Minneapolis country punk-band Chokecherry, and La Crosse based bluegrass artist Jake Duda. She has previously played with The Knotwells, In the Heart of the Beast’s Barebones Halloween Orchestra, and Mayday Marching Band.
She has been playing fiddle since she was a wee lassie. She also plays bass guitar, uke, sings, and has just purchased a jaw harp so we shall see where that goes.
When not playing music, you can find Pamela drinking tequila, petting a dog, or talking about her new bands.
Corinne also plays in a super cool band called Black Widows... (you may have heard of them?), progressive and theatrical rock band White Night, and Le Cirque Rouge Cabaret and burlesque show. She has previously performed and recorded with such artists as Faux Jean, Jessy Greene, Loose Limbs, Dessa, Boy Sopranos, Heiruspecs, The Hold Steady, Sean Roderick Trio, Laurie Van Wieren, and her parents.
She plays guitar, uke, kazoo, sings, and tinkers with some other things.
When not playing music, you can find Corinne possibly drinking tequila and cracking jokes on a patio somewhere with Pamela, petting pretty much any animal, pretending to organize her house, talking about her new bands, and hanging out with her super cool boyfriend who owns a super cool restaurant in Stillwater that she sometimes plays music at.
Nannie Doss will entertain you, they promise
